At the Dr. Sloan Library, our mission is to provide a safe third space for children by offering opportunities to engage in positive experiences that inspire creativity, learning, and community connection.

In our six-week Summer Wellness Series, teenagers aged 13-17 will take part in literary conversations and yoga classes. Inside our safe space, they will engage in inspiring group discussions where participants are invited to share and express their own thoughts and ideas. Additionally, they will explore yoga as a tool for physical and mental well-being.

As an added bonus: There is an optional Reading Challenge with prizes - please see the librarian for details!

Sign-up is free and includes ALL days listed above.

All the necessary yoga supplies are provided for use during class times.

Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the start of each class time to check-in and get settled.
