About the Library
The Dr. Sloan Library, established in 1913, is a unique building that serves as both a modern public library and a local museum. The architecture of the library is modeled after other small Carnegie Free Libraries in Ohio, and it features high ceilings, original fixtures, solid flooring, and plaster walls.
The library has a local history and genealogy room for public research, and relics donated by early families are displayed throughout the building.
Additionally, the library has a fully equipped kitchen in the lower level that can be rented and can accommodate up to 40 people.
To learn more about the library or to rent the lower level, please contact the librarian.
